Sealed quotations are invited for the above work as per the specifications given in the quotation schedule attached.

Interested parties are requested to quote their lowest rates for each item of work in the schedule and submit it to the undersigned in a sealed cover super scribing “Setting up of Flow Element Service Centre”. Tender forms and other details can be had from the Civil Maintenance Department on any working day (Monday – Friday) from 04/11/2011 to 17/11/2011 during office hours(9 am - 5.30pm). Time & Date of receiving of tender is Up to 3 pm on 18-11-2011. The tenders will be opened at 4.00 pm on 18-11-2011.

General Conditions:
1. The quantities specified in the schedule are approximate only and may vary. You have to carry out the extra quantities of work, if any, at the same rates, terms & condition of contract.
2. The quoted rate should be inclusive of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc. complete charges where ever not otherwise specified .
3. If Service Tax is applicable, mention Percentage of Service Tax and the Amount on which the Service Tax will be Applicable. If this information is not given by the contractor, it will be assumed that the quoted rates are inclusive of Service Tax and No separate future claim towards Service Tax will be Entertained.
4. The successful financial bidder will have to execute an agreement with the Institute in a
stamp paper worth Rs.50/-.
5. The time of completion of the above work will be 2 months from the date of receipt of work order.
6. Cement required for the work shall be issued at the stores of the company at Rs.270/- (Rupees Two hundred & Seventy only) per bag of approximate 50kgs. The contractor shall arrange for the transportation, proper storage etc. of the same at his own cost. The contractor shall maintain a site register book for daily cement receipt and consumption of the work. This shall be made available to the Engineer-In-Charge for inspection on demand.
7. TMT bars/ Ribbed Tor Steel required for the work shall be issued at the stores of the company free of cost. The contractor shall arrange for the transportation, proper storage etc. of the same at his own cost.
8. The Sand to be used for the work shall be of good quality and the use of M- Sand which is permitted subject to prior approval of the quality.
9. The drawings supplied along with the Tender are only for tendering purpose and not for working in the site and Working Drawings will be supplied before the actual execution of the work
10. There will be 2 bills for the work ie 1 RA Bill and Final Bill.
11. Security deposit at 10% will be deducted from your bill and it will be released only after a period of 1 year during which you are liable to undertake any repair/maintenance of the structure which you have undertaken.
12. Income tax as per rules will be deducted from your bill. Any other govt. taxes / levies that may arise during the contract period shall be born by you.
13. All other Terms & Condition will be as per the tender and general condition of contract applicable to FCRI, which you have to read before submitting the quotation.
14. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
15. The Tender forms are available at the office of the Civil Maintenance Dept during Office
hours.
