OBJECTIVES	To enable the participants to update their knowledge in the area of flow measurement and control on Oil,gas, water and also to cover the International Standards in flow measurements and also the standard procedure on maintaining fuel installation according to International Standards, Flow measurement and control in flow meters and its calibration, norms and ethics in calculation of custody transfer in petroleum industry etc
TOPICS	Understand quality management definitions, concepts, and guidelines Understand the purpose of the ISO 9000 series Understand the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard Understand the roles and responsibilities of the auditor Apply ISO 19011:2002 definitions, concepts, and guidelines Recognize the principles, practices, and types of audits Conduct all phases of an internal audit Prepare and present effective reports Understand RABQSA’s certification scheme Understand the role of objectives, scope and criteria in the audit process How to plan audits Conduct audit team selection Initiate the audit and conducting opening meetings Understand audit team leader responsibilities Communicate effectively during the audit Conduct on-site activities Prepare audit conclusions Conduct closing meetings Report audit results Understand the eight quality management principles Recognize the meaning of Six Sigma as a metric Review different application areas including operational, transactional, and design areas Understand the DMAIC process improvement roadmap Review the approach to implementing a Six Sigma program Understand impacts of a management systems and Six Sigma on day-to-day operations including costs and cost savings Recognize the value of investment in a Six Sigma program and a management system
TARGET GROUP	Technical Personnel in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Industrial Engineering working in Oil & Gas industry, Process Industries and related fields can apply. Participants may be from industry, R&D organisation or Academic Institutes or Govt. Officials.
