The Library cum Documentation Centre at FCRI has a sizable collection of books and journals relevant to flow product industry in the areas of flow metering, control and measurement techniques. All relevant National & International standards are available at the centre. The Centre also holds a collection of videocassettes, which gives information in the areas of flow measurement and control and flow products manufactured by different Industries.

The available literature in the specialised areas of flow measurement is continuously used by large number of industries for their requirements of Articles/Books and reference documents. Documentation Centre also caters to photocopy the available documents and many engineering industries are availing these facility. Participants for the different courses/seminars organised at the Institute also use the DC and keep their contacts through correspondence for their requirements.

A bimonthly Bulletin carrying the details of the current activities is sent to various industries/organisation.

FCRI has been publishing Flow Meter/Valves Abstracts journal since March 1992. This is being published thrice in a year and is widely circulated to various industries/organisations in the relevant field, in order to keep them abreast of the latest developments.

A Flowmeter Directory of flowmeter manufacturing organisations along with type, ranges, sizes and their relative accuracy is prepared. This is a useful tool for selecting the suppliers of a given flowmeter. These datas are updated periodically.
