The various testing facilities available in the laboratory are as follows.

Impact Testing Machine

FCRI is equipped with an Impact Testing machine which can carry out charpy impact testing as per ASTM E23.

For conducting subzero testing, a temperature chamber with a range –70 deg. To 200 deg. Is also available. Traceability of the machine is maintained by conducting dimensional verification and proof testing annually using NIST reference test specimens.

Actuator Testing Facility

The test rig covers testing of actuators according to BS 4151 and ISA S 26 standards. Accelerated life test (cyclic test) type test for actuators Torque chracteristics, dynamic response ISA.


Facility for testing of Safety products & Domestic appliances

This facility is for testing domestic appliances & safety products according to Indian and UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory) Standards.
