The Physical Standards Laboratory maintains the primary standards
of length, mass, time, temperature, pressure/vacuum, volume, relative
humidity and hardness and also provides calibration services in
the field of dimensional metrology. The primary standard equipment
are calibrated at National Physical Laboratory at New Delhi. In
PSL calibration activities of master instruments from industries
are undertaken with traceability to NPL, New Delhi.
