OBJECTIVES	The above e-course on “Industrial gas meters and their selection and calibration methods” discusses the operating principles and applications of various types of gas meters normally used in industries. It also explains the primary and secondary methods for calibration of different types of gas meters and establishing traceability in measurements. The programme also explains the uncertainty estimation methods in calibration of gas meters as per NABL 141 guidelines. Typical examples will be data and calculation will be explained in the sessions.

Target Group	Personnel from Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Petroleum or Electrical Engineering with a background of industrial Instrumentation and control in gas flow measurement and related field. Participants may be from gas industries,flow meter manufacturers, Flow meter user industries, consultant engineers, Govt Regulatory bodies, Research institutes, Academic institutions etc.
