FCRI has the necessary hardware and software to perform CFD and FEM analysis relating to:
- Design of Flow Elements, Pressure vessels, turbo machinery components, piping configurations
- Installation effects on Flow meters
- Thermal and Hydraulic Modeling and Simulation of fluid flow
- Validation of Flow elements, Piping connections
- Sump model studies
- Simulation of flow through water saving devices, seals, bends, pipes, water tunnels, etc.
Latest versions of the CFD software FLUENT and the FEM software ALGOR are available at the Institute to cater to this requirement.
